Greetings NHTI & NHCTC faculty and staff,

Plymouth State University's annual Transfer Day will be held Monday, November 26, 2007.

President Sarah Jane Steen will welcome participants at 10:30 AM.

Please let students know this is an opportunity to tour the Plymouth campus and speak with professors and department staff. Students bringing a copy of their transcript can meet with Mary Campbell for same-day credit evaluation.

Transfer Day will be held in conjunction with the November 26 PSU Fall Open House for all prospective students. Ongoing classes will be open to visitors throughout the day. Lunch for guests is provided in Prospect Dining Hall.

In keeping with the original intent of Transfer Day, we hope the promotion of this event will bring awareness to students of the collaborative relationship between the NHCC System and Plymouth State University. Our
continuing goal is to assist the students by facilitating the transition of moving from the 2 year to the 4 year degree program.

Please show your support for this effort by encouraging students to participate in our November 26 Open House, especially the transfer-specific portion (approximately 10:30am - noon). Remind students to bring their transcripts. They do not need to be official copies.

Although there are no presentations or workshops specifically designated for NHTI & NHCTC advisors, you are invited to use this occasion to visit Plymouth, renew contacts or make new acquaintances.

Parking will be at the PE Center, right off exit 25 from I-93. A shuttle will run up to the Silver Center for the Arts. Registration, transcript drop-off, and the first campus tour, begin at 9:00 AM. A packet outlining the day's events and the schedule of Monday's classes will be available at the registration desk.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me. The November 26, Open House/Transfer Day information is posted on our website at:
http://www.plymouth.edu/admit/visit/ Due to the Thanksgiving holiday immediately preceding Open House, drop-ins will be welcome.

Thank you.
